Beauty on a Budget with Lakme – Products under Rs 300
Who says you have to splurge to get the perfect look? Lakme is one brand you can find a lot of pocket-friendly yet good products. Years ago, when I was just exploring the beauty world, Lakme was my most favorite brand for both makeup and skincare. Lakme Face magic was my first tinted moisturizer, Lakme Peach Milk moisturizer was the only moisturizer I loved and Lakme Strawberry face wash was my most used face wash. I have come a long way since that, however, I still have a lot of Lakme products in my vanity that I really love. Take a look –
Lakme Rose Powder
Price – Rs 150 for 40 gms
It comes in two shades – Soft Pink and Warm pink. It gives little to no coverage, but works great as a mattifying powder. I use it above my BB/CC cream to control the shine. The quantity that you get for this price is a lot and it will last you a very long time.
Lakme Eyebrow Pencil
Price Rs 60 for 2 gm
It is a no-fuss product to fill up your eyebrows. Comes in one shade-black. Doesn’t smudge and is not dark black – so gives a natural look without making it look stark. And hey, look at the price!
Lakme Duo Sharpner
Price Rs 60
Again, this one sharpener can be used to sharpen both the regular sized pencil cosmetics as well as the thicker ones. A steal for this price.
Lakme Eyeconic Eyes Kajal
Price Ranges from Rs 180 – 250 depending on the shade
I love both black and brown from this range. I have lost count of how many blacks I have used up over time. They don’t smudge, last long and don’t irritate eyes when used on waterline.
Lakme Lip Love Lip Care
Price Rs 200
I love the fact that these lip balms don’t melt or look patchy when applied. They come in 4 shades and give a subtle hint of color when applied.
Lakme Lip Gloss
Price Rs 200
Though the color payoff is not great, the shine and staying power is much better than most lip glosses in this range. They are quite sticky when used. But because of this, they stay much longer and do not spread.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick
Price Rs 260
A ton of shades to choose from, decent staying power, different finishes and good packaging – make them a great choice when you want to have a lot of shades in your vanity and at the same time it doesn’t make your pocket much lighter.
Have you used any of these products? Which are your favorite budget beauty products? Would love to hear from you. Do leave a comment 🙂
