Fabindia Facial Rose Water Review

Fabindia Facial Rose Water

Fabindiarosewater

Ever since I have started following CTM regularly, rose water is one product I always make a point to stock up. I started out with many many years ago Dabur Gulabari and slowly shifted to Fabindia Rose water. I’ve lost count of how many bottles I have used up over the years.

Since I have dry and sensitive skin, I avoid alcohol based toners and so this particular product suits my skin like nothing else.

Product Description

The rose water itself looks like clear water and has mild, faint fragrance of real roses. No hint of any artificial fragrance. It comes in a sturdy, transparent spray bottle.

My opinion about Fabindia rose water

This has been my HG toner since the last so many years . No matter which other toner I try, I keep coming back to this one. I wouldn’t say this has worked wonders on my skin, but it regular use has definitely minimized appearance of open pores.

I basically have dry, sensitive skin and sometimes when my skin is at its irritated and sensitive best, this rose water has a very soothing and calming effect  on it. It never broke me out or caused any negative effects. Unlike most other toners I have used in the past, this doesn’t leave behind any sticky, stretchy or oily feeling. Just a light, cool and soothing feeling.

Needless to say, like all other rose waters, this one too can be used for multiple purposes – as a toner, in your face pack, as a face mist etc

I am currently using Kama Ayurveda Rose water as well, which I received as a sample in a beauty box recently. To be honest, apart from the double price (Kama Ayurveda Rose Water costs Rs 250 for 50 ml!), I haven’t seen noticeable difference in the results that they give.

Pros

  • Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity
  • Sturdy, travel friendly packaging
  • Suitable for all skin types, even for sensitive skin
  • Completely free of chemicals and artificial ingredients

Cons

None that I can think of

Should you buy it?

If you have dry, sensitive skin like me and looking for a good, alcohol-free budget toner, go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

If you have oily/combination skin and  looking for a good toner, this won’t help you much (as a toner) since it doesn’t address issues like oil control. But if you’re looking for a good facial mist, go for it!
