Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Replenishing Hand Cream

Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Replenishing Hand Cream

Avon skin so soft

A few months ago, I bought The Body Shop hand creams – Strawberry and Moringa varieties. Despite having good fragrances, they lagged behind in the moisturization department. I have also tried Fabindia Lemon hand cream which moisturized well, and worked on tan removal, but I always found a prominent layer of it on my hands. So when I saw this on Nykaa, I thought of giving it a try.

Price 199 INR for 75gm (Though Nykaa is selling it for 199INR, the price on Amazon is 250INR)

About Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Replenishing Hand Cream

Ingredients

Experience
The cream comes in a dull pink tube with a flip top cap. The cap is quite sturdy and hence can be carried in your handbag. The cream has a mild, pleasant, prominent fragrance which lasts at least for an hour after applying. To be honest, I really love the fragrance. The texture is neither runny nor too heavy. It has a nice, creamy texture without being sticky or greasy. It gets instantly absorbed, leaving hands looking moisturized. It’s quite nice for the dry winter season. I do love this hand cream, and is much better than the other ones I have used in the past. However, the claim to retain moisture for 24+ hours is false. You would feel the need to re-apply within 4-5 hours. Overall, an average hand cream with a good fragrance.

Pros
Amazing fragrance
Easily absorbed
Moisturizing without being greasy or sticky
Travel friendly
Inexpensive

Cons

Doesn’t live up to it’s claim of providing 24+ hours of moisturization.

Should you buy?
Worth a try. Works well for normal and moderately dry skin.  Not sufficiently moisturizing for extremely dry skin.

  1. Wonderful review 🙂 🙂 I love hand creams so much <3 <3 I can't live without them as I cannot stand having dry hands. This one sounds great, even if it doesn't last for 24 hours, it seems like a good one that you can just re-apply. I apply hand cream at least 3 times a day x x
