I was really excited when Vya Naturals contacted me, asking me if I could review their Wild Turmeric facewash. I did a quick digging into the internet to find out more about this brand and was really impressed. Here are more details about Vya Naturals-

My take on Vya Naturals Turmeric & Tea Tree Anti Acne Face Wash

Packaging: It comes in a sturdy transparent pump bottle which is travel friendly. The pump can be locked during travel to avoid accidental spillage of the product

Appearance & Fragrance: It is pale green in color, with quite a thick consistency. The fragrance is mild and has a prominent basil-like fragrance, owing to the presence of Basil oil.

My skin is generally not acne prone. However, due to recent negligence in skin care and a very humid climate, I was just recovering from a bad bout of acne. By the time I had received this face wash, the acne had subsided to some extent, however the bumps and associated redness was still there. This face wash couldn’t have come at a better time, I thought.

This face wash is extremely mild on the skin and definitely calming. Within a couple of days of usage, I could see the redness reducing. It did not dry out my skin at all, and I did not even feel the need for a moisturizer. You need very little quantity at a time. Though it doesn’t foam much, it cleans the skin really well.

Though it is recommended for combination/acne prone skin, it worked well for my dry skin as well (in this humid climate especially). However, if you have combination/acne prone skin, I do not recommend following this up with a moisturizer when the climate is humid.

Do I recommend it?

Though it seems a bit pricey, you need very little quantity at a time, and a bottle will last you for quite some time. If you are looking for a mild, calming face wash which is 100% parabens and sulphate free, you can surely go for it.

This product was sent to me by the brand for consideration. However, my review remains unbiased.
