My Take on Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sun Block SPF 50+ PA+++ SunBlock
Packaging – It comes in a sturdy tube with a screw-on lid. It has a narrow opening to dispense the right quantity.
Fragrance & Color – The fragrance is fresh, mild and pleasant. Almost floral. The sun block is white in color.
Finish & Texture – The texture is neither too thick nor too runny. It is extremely lightweight, spreads easily and disappears without leaving any whitish cast. It gives a non-greasy, slightly moisturized finish. It is neither drying nor too moisturizing. However, in winter, those with dry skin will need to follow up with a moisturizer. The texture is really very light and can be used under makeup as well.
A few more things…
This sun block forms a physical barrier between your skin and the sun rays. Hence, applying very small quantity is not really going to help you. For optimum sun protection, you need to apply this sunblock liberally about 15-20 minutes before sun exposure.
Also, another thing I need to mention here is please avoid any contact with eyes. Yes, I have been using it since so many years and it has been my favorite sunblock. The only problem I have with this is it stings really badly if it accidentally comes in contact with my eyes.
Overall, it is one of the best sun blocks out there. It also comes in a spray/mist form, which I have not used yet.
Do I recommend it?
A big yes! If you’re looking for an effective, light weight no-fuss sunscreen, this is what you need to go for!
