Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15 Review

Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15 Review

I always prefer to use a day cream with SPF 15 when I’m indoors. So far I had been loving Olay Total Effects SPF15 and have been using it since a long time. I recently decided to try this Youth Eternity day cream by Himalaya. It comes in 3 sizes – 10 ml, 20 ml and 50 ml and I picked up the smallest one.

Price

Rs 99 for 10 ml

Rs  249 for 20 ml

Rs 465 for 50 ml

(It is almost always available on good discount on Nykaa and Amazon)

About Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15

Key ingredients:

My Take Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15

Packaging – Attractive white, green and gold packaging. The smallest 10 ml one comes in a tube packaging. While the largest 50 ml one comes in a pump packaging. Both the sizes are practically packaged and are travel friendly.

Fragrance- Has a mild floral fragrance which is pleasant and stays for a few hours after application.

Color & Texture – It is palest of pale pink/peach in color. Has a thick creamy texture.

On application, it spreads easily and gets quickly absorbed. It is richly moisturizing, yet non greasy and makes my skin look instantly brighter. It definitely makes the pores less visible and thus makes a super great base for makeup as well. I had purchased the smallest 10 ml tube which has lasted me for about a week.

Rich and creamy texture

Quickly absorbed with no greasiness

If I compare it with Olay Total Effects SPF 15 cream which I had been using for a very long time, I would say it definitely as good in terms of effectiveness, if not better. What’s more, it comes at almost half the price of Olay Total Effects!

In terms of moisturizing, works perfectly well for my dry skin in the current not-so-dry climate. However, it may not be adequately moisturizing in conditions where you need a good heavy duty moisturizer.

Do I recommend Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15?

  1. I use a sunscreen when I am going out. I rarely use one when indoors. After reading your post I am thinking I should be using a sunscreen all the time. 🙂 This one looks good and so inexpensive. I will suggest my sister to get one. 🙂
