Fab Bag May 2016 Mini Reviews
I received my May Fab bag also quite late, so had quite less time to try out the products. Nevertheless, here are the mini reviews –
Inveda Sunscreen Cream Gel SPF 30 PA++
When I first saw this sunscreen in my May Fab Bag, my first reaction was “Oh No! Not another
sunscreen!”. I already had tons of sunscreen to finish off and was definitely not looking to buy
more. I was not familiar with the brand Inveda either. So I was disappointed. However, I was in
for a pleasant surprise when I first used it.
What I loved about it –
– Pleasant, mild, refreshing fragrance – it has a pleasant floral fragrance – reminds me vaguely
of Jasmine
– The texture – Surprisingly awesome! Very light, easily absorbed and gives a pleasant glow. Apt
for using under makeup
– Completely non sticky or non greasy. Works amazing on my basically dry skin. Feels like I have
applied nothing
– Paraben-free
– Very economical – 250 INR for 75 ml
– Tube packaging with sturdy cap makes it apt to travel with
What I did not like about it –
– Though its easily absorbed, it does not give a matte finish. Though not an issue for me, this
could be a con for those with oily skin or those who prefer matte finish
Repurchase? Big Yes!
Sea Soul Dual Eyeshadow SS5
I received the SeaSoul eyeshadow duo in SS5. This has two shades – Choco Black which is a matte
shade and Boronzo which is a shimmer shade. I am not much of an eye shadow person so I did not
really use it much. Here are the swatches –
Repurchase? No. Nothing wrong with the product though, just that I am not really into
eye shadows.
Nyassa Tea Tree face wash
This is a dark green face wash with a strong tea tree fragrance. I have dry and sensitive skin. So not
really a product meant for my skin type. It dried my skin even more and made it slightly
sensitive. I would not be using it again. My husband who has normal skin used it once and did
not find anything wrong with the product. Nothing great about it either.
Repurchase? No! Not meant for my dry sensitive skin.
Ital Veloce Fragrance Mists in Chii Town Blushes and Summer Snow Flakes
I received two Ital Veloce fragrance mists in sample size – Chii Town Blushes and Summer Snow Flakes. (Click on the links to read more about the fragrances and know about their fragrance notes) I loved both the fragrances. They are fresh and long lasting as well.
Repurchase: Absolutely! I totally love these fragrances, especially Chii Town Blushes! At 499 INR I
think it’s a steal and I definitely would like to try more fragrances from this range.
