Well, I got this shampoo and conditioner duo a couple of months ago. When it comes to smoothing and taming frizzy hair, I always trust Dove. So when I saw this Dove Advanced Hair Series range, I decided to give it a try. There are two variants in this range – Rejuvenated Volume (for thinning hair) and Regenerative Repair (for extremely damaged hair). I picked up the Rejuvenated Volume series shampoo and conditioner first.

My Take on Dove Advanced Hair Series Rejuvenated Volume Shampoo & Conditioner
Packaging Both the shampoo and the conditioner come in similar looking tubes with a flip top caps.
Fragrance Pleasant and long lasting fragrance. Not as strong and overpowering as the other Dove shampoos
Texture Neither too thick nor too runny. Both are extremely light in texture.
The shampoo spreads and lathers super easily. Cleans oil too effectively, leaves hair squeaky clean. Now, the conditioner is my favorite of this duo. It is unbelievably light-weight, spreads easily and is super conditioning. It also washes off effortlessly. And it doesn’t weigh down my hair either.
I have been using this shampoo-conditioner duo since a couple of months now. I started noticing difference right from first wash. As for the volume part, I don’t see it adding noticeable volume. However, within 2-3 washes, my hair looked really smooth, frizz-free, soft and bouncy. As of now, this is my most favorite shampoo-conditioner duo till date in this price range. I would continue to repurchase this till I find something better. I would also be trying the other variant (Regenerative Repair) from this Advanced Hair Series range very soon.
What I love about it-
- Pleasant fragrance, not too strong or overpowering
- Shampoo is gentle, yet cleans oil too effectively
- Conditioner is extremely light weight, washes off real easy yet conditions hair well
- The shampoo-conditioner duo doesn’t weigh hair down
- Smooth, frizz free, shiny hair right from from first few uses
What I don’t like about it –
- Doesn’t give noticeable volume as per claims
Do I recommend Dove Advanced Hair Series Rejuvenated Volume Shampoo & Conditioner
If you are looking for a gentle cleansing shampoo + lightweight yet effective conditioner which is also easy on your pocket, definitely go for it. However, if you’re looking for a volumizing shampoo-conditioner for thinning hair, this might disappoint you.

My hair is naturally a bit frizzy and coarse. I love Dove shampoos but have not tried this one, I have not seen this one here. I get the one for dull damaged hair with some dry oil, when I get the Dove shampoos. I rarely get the conditioners instead I use the hair masks as my conditioners and it works best for my hair. ? I love reading your posts.
