My experience with Bioderma Sensibio H2O Make-up removing micelle solution

The makeup removing solution comes in a clear transparent bottle with a pink flip top cap. The solution itself looks like clear water. There is no noticeable fragrance either. The cap is leak proof and doesn’t spill in case you need to carry it during travel.

For removing eye make up, I soak up two cotton pads in it, place it over my eyes for about 20 seconds and wipe it off. Eyeliner comes off in a with one single swipe. For mascara, I need to wipe a couple of times more to take it off completely. I must mention it does not irritate eyes at all.  I soak another couple of cotton pads with this solution and clean my face and lipstick which come off in a jiffy. No sticky/oily residue, no irritation or redness on the skin. Just squeaky clean skin. My only issue is whenever I use this to clean up my lipstick, it leaves a very bitter taste.

Even though this sounds a little too expensive for a makeup remover, it’s worth every penny. You need very little quantity each time and one bottle will last you a long long time.

To sum it up

Pros

Perfect for sensitive skin

Does not leave behind oily or sticky residue – so definiitely non-rinse formula as they claim it to be

Cleans up skin super easily without any tugging, pulling

Leak proof packaging and availability of a travel sized bottle makes it suitable to travel with

Cons

Leaves bitter taste when you remove lipstick – need to be rinsed after using

Quite expensive (but worth the money, so not really a con)

Should you buy this?

A big yes. Especially if you use makeup, investing in a good makeup remover is essential and this is one of the best! Go for 250 ml unless you’re looking for travel sized bottle. Its more economical.
